Today in History in 1864 Abraham Lincoln was elected to his 2nd term as President; in 1904 President Theodore Roosevelt defeats Alton B Parker; in 1932 Franklin Roosevelt was elected 32nd President for 1st time; and in 1960 John F. Kennedy beat VP Richard Nixon to become the 35th U.S. President.

  • 2016 - Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) was elected the 45th President of the United States. Born and raised in Queens, New York City, Trump received an economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968.
