Apple Queen Crowned Saturday Night
Lincolnton crowned its first Cuban American Apple Queen, Ana Acela Pérez Ochoa, at the 39th annual pageant on Saturday night. She was the recipient of a $3,000 scholarship sponsored by the Business and Professional Women.

The 39th Lincoln County Apple Queen Pageant happens this Saturday night.  Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the event starts at 6. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and children 12 and under. Tickets will be available at the door.
