45th Annual Lincoln County Apple Festival Saturday
The Lincoln County Apple Festival happens all day this Saturday (Sept. 16th) in downtown Lincolnton. Events begin with the Apple Dish Contest at the Extension Kitchen in the James W. Warren Citizens Center and the Rotary 5k and Fun Run at Lincolnton High School. There's plenty of activities to fill your day.

Out of eight couples competing at the end of the night the 2017 Dancing With Our Stars Winners were Shannon and Jason Ramsey. They were also picked as the Fan Favorites. Suzanne Odell Devine and Travis Farmer were first runners up.

Last year's Dancing With Our Stars was so well received that the fundraiser for the Lincoln Cultural Center is being repeated this year.  But when all the seats at the Cultural Center sold out in two days, it was decided to hold this year's event (Saturday, Aug. 26th, 7 PM) at the Citizens Center.
