LINCOLNTON, N.C. – The Lincoln County Soil & Water Conservation District held their annual awards banquet on Thursday, August 10.

Invocation was given by Rev. Bob Wise.

After the dinner Tommy Houser, Chairman for the District welcomed everyone and made introductions.

Entertainment and Magic for the night was by Rick and Myra Ramseur and some willing audience members.

Awards were presented to:

  • Anna Bieherich who read her winning essay.
  • Regan Mitchem, Resource Conservation Workshop Student
  • Johnathan Harris, the Blair Goodson Conservation Award.
Before adjournment door prizes were awarded.
