The Lincoln County Board of Education named the new Superintendent for Lincoln County Schools at a special meeting Tuesday evening (June 6th). Dr. Lory Morrow will be taking over as Dr. Sherry Hoyle retires after 31 years with the Lincoln County Schools.

Foard Teacher Sent Back To Jail After Court Appearance
A Fred T. Foard High School teacher has been charged with two sex crimes.  Twenty-eight year old Jeb Bass had his first appearance in district court Tuesday morning in Newton. After his bond was raised, he was sent back to jail, but made the higher bond later in the day Tuesday.
