Sheriff's Detectives Looking For Runaway Teen

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for a runaway teenager who went missing Wednesday night, April 19, 2017.

Deputies were dispatched to 141 St. Matthews Church Road, Maiden, NC in reference of a runaway teen. Tipton Lamar (TJ) Jones, 15, left the residence around 10:30 p.m. on April 19, 2017. He was wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes but no shirt.

Tipton Lamar Jones is described as a white male, 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing around 160-pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 704-732-9050 or the Lincoln County Communications Center at 704-735-8202.
