Four people, all from one Cherryville address, have been arrested on a variety of drug charges. Three of them were arrested Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Sarah Gene Marcum, Samantha Ann Stivala, Michele Marie Paszek and Donald Dean Daniels, all of 252 Sedyewood Lane, off Highway 274 southeast of Cherryville, are accused of maintaining a home to make and sell methamphetamines, heroin and marijuana.

That's the same address where police served a search warrant on August 30th, two days after someone fired multiple bullets into the home of a Gaston County Police Officer. Bradley Gene Mellon, 27, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling from a moving vehicle, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon in that investigation.

Mellon was friends with the four facing drug charges. When Gaston County Police served the search warrant on the home they saw evidence of the drug operation.

Sarah Gene Marcum, 20, was arrested on 15 different drug charges and jailed under a $300,000 bond.

Samantha Ann Stivala, 22, also faces 15 drug charges. Her bond was set at $250,000.

Michele Marie Paszek, 55, faces the same 15 charges and her bond was also set at $250,000.

Donald Dean Daniels, 30, faces 22 different drug charges, and his total bond was set at $960,000. Daniels had been arrested on drug charges before--both in April of this year and October of last year. Marcum had been arrested for possession of meth in May.

Daniels was arrested on August 30th and had additional charges added last week and more on Tuesday. Marcum was arrested Tuesday afternoon, Paszek and Stivala Tuesday evening.

The three women were scheduled for a district court appearance on Wednesday. Daniels has court dates on Thursday of next week and on September 26th and 27th.
