Harvey Sends Gas Prices Soaring
Gas prices jumped 40¢ a gallon Thursday compared to Wednesday at many locations.   Regular gas, which had been $2.08 a gallon last week was $2.39 a gallon Thursday morning in the Lincolnton area, then $2.59 a gallon at most locations in Lincolnton and Denver by Thursday evening.  It's all because of Hurricane Harvey.
