ECA Fried Apple Pies Available August 14-18

LINCOLNTON, N.C. - The Lincoln County Extension and Community Association (ECA) will be selling fried apple pies August 14-18. Price for a fried pie is $3.00.

Walk-ins will be welcome starting at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 14 and then from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. through the rest of the week.

Please stop by the Demonstration Kitchen at the James W. Warren Citizens Center, 115 West Main Street in Lincolnton and pick up a few! For large orders, please call 704-736-8464 beginning Monday, August 14 at 9 a.m.

The Lincoln County Extension and Community Association have been making fried pies since 1974. The fried pies are the clubs major fundraiser, which in turn finances many of the activities that the organization does for the community. Such activities include: supporting local 4-H special projects, helping Lincoln County Coalition Against Child Abuse, Red Cross, and four $1,000 scholarships for a student at each of the high schools.
