The Lincoln County Public Library is excited to announce a new Film Club program at the Florence S. Shanklin Library in Denver, N.C. The first film to discuss will be “Hacksaw Ridge” which depicts the true story of Pfc. Desmond T. Doss who won the Congressional Medal of Honor despite refusing to bear arms during WWII on religious grounds.
