Boger City UMC Fall Craft Fair, Saturday, November 11 --- A Fall Craft Fair, sponsored by the ECA (Extension Community Association) will be held Saturday, November 11 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Boger City United Methodist Church, corner of East Main and Lithia Inn Road in Lincolnton.  Items for sale include crocheted and knitted items; handmade holiday gift crafts, jewelry, soaps, lotions; local pottery and ceramics; handmade wood art and furniture. A handmade quilt auction will be held. And the ECA prize winning Apple Festival Cookbooks will be for sale. Food items can be purchased including breakfast and lunch, coffee and drinks. North Brook Baptist Craft Bazaar, Saturday, November 11 --- North Brook Baptist Church, 7421 Flay Road, Cherryville, NC will host a Craft Bazaar on Saturday, November 11 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Youth will be serving breakfast and lunch. There will be pottery, jewelry, crafts, baked goodies, homemade canned goods and much, much more!  Everyone welcome, no charge at the door.

Living Word Church, CBCC Blood Drive, Saturday, November 11 – Living Word Church, 923 Island Ford Road, Maiden, NC 28650 will host a Community Blood Center of the Carolinas Blood Drive on Saturday, November 11 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. All donors who give blood or platelets during this time will sign a gift tag that will then be attached to a stuffed toy puppy that will be delivered to children in area hospitals and care facilities during the holidays. Asbury UMC Spaghetti Fundraiser, Saturday, November 11 --- The community is invited to a Spaghetti Fundraiser at Asbury United Methodist Church, 3097 Asbury Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 on Saturday, November 11 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the ministries of Henderson Settlement in Frakes, Kentucky. Crouse UMC Fish Fry & Oyster Stew, Saturday, November 11 --- The world famous Crouse Fish Fry & Oyster Stew supper will be held Saturday, November 11 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Crouse United Methodist Church, 3311 Crouse School Road, Crouse, NC 28033 (GPS ADDRESS). Eat-in or take-out available. Plates are $12 for adults, $7 for children ages 6-10, ages 5 and under eat free. Proceeds benefit the building, renovation, and maintenance fund for the church. Denver UMC Veterans Recognition Day, Saturday, November 11 --- The Eastern Lincoln Historical Society is hosting a Veterans Recognition Day on Saturday, November 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Denver United Methodist Church in their gymnasium.  Dinner will be provided followed by a program where veterans will be individually honored.  Veterans are encouraged to come and bring their families. Salem Baptist Community Wide Bonfire, Saturday, November 11 --- Salem Baptist Church, 1982 Salem Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 will be hosting a Community Wide Bonfire on Saturday, November 11 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. We will be roasting hot dogs and making s'mores with music and good fellowship all around a roaring fire. Long Shoals Wesleyan On-Board Game Night, Saturday, November 18 --- We are a community-focused group of grownups (16+) that like games. Our game-nights will occur twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays. We will gather at the fellowship hall at Long Shoals Wesleyan Church (3032 Wesleyan Church Road, Lincolnton, NC) at 6 p.m. and play until about 9:30 p.m. During this time there will be various board games around for anyone to play. First United Methodist Morganton Night Of Light Road Race, Saturday, December 2 --- First United Methodist Church,  201 N. King Street, Morganton, NC will host the Night of Light Road Race on Saturday, December 2 from 5:15 p.m. until 8 p.m.  The Night of Light 5k and Family Faith Run have become a holiday tradition for runners from all over the state. It is open to both runners and walkers and they highly encourage fabulous Christmas and Festive attire!
