Daniels Lutheran Country Breakfast, Saturday, September 23 --- Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Road in Lincolnton will host a country breakfast, open to the public, from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.  on Saturday, September 23. Take out is available. A $7 donation is suggested to benefit the church building fund.

Lowesville Gospel Concerts, The Cockman Family Bluegrass, Saturday, September 23 --- The Cockman Family Bluegrass from Sherrills Ford, N.C. will be in concert on Saturday, September 23 at Living Word Ministries, 1062 Hwy 16 South in Lowesville/Stanley. The concert will start at 6 p.m. This concert is free and everyone is welcome. Crouse UMC Homecoming, Sunday, October 1 --- Homecoming at Crouse United Methodist Church will be celebrated on Sunday, October 1 at 11 a.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Angela Pleasants, Superintendent for the Catawba Valley District of the Western NC Conference. A covered dish lunch will follow. St. Peter-By-The-Lake Episcopal: Alexander Community Concert Series, Sunday, October 1 --- The concert series begins its eighth season on Sunday, October 1 at 3 p.m. with Eight Track Parade, a cover band influenced by the 70s rock, pop, ballads, soul, and funk sounds. A reception to meet and greet the musicians will follow each performance. General admission is $15 for Adults, $10 for Seniors (65+) and Students, Children under 12 are free. David Memorial Baptist, Pine Ridge Boys Quartet in Concert, Sunday, October 1 --- You’re invited to join us at David Memorial Baptist Church as we welcome the Pine Ridge Boys Quartet from Inman, S.C. in Concert on Sunday, October 1 at 6 p.m.  The church is located at 2533 Country Club Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092. Boger City UMC Pumpkin Patch, October 1-30 --- The pumpkins for the annual Pumpkin Patch to support the youth mission projects of Boger City United Methodist Church will arrive on September 30 from the Navajo Reservation near Farmington, New Mexico and will be available for purchase during the month of October. Pumpkins and gourds of many different sizes will be available from 75 cents to $50 depending on the size. A limited number of painted and decorated pumpkins will be available for an extra charge. Small and large pots of chrysanthemums will also be available. Bring your camera with you when you visit the Pumpkin Patch for photo opportunities! Daniels Lutheran Fall Festival, Saturday, October 7 --- Daniels Lutheran Church 3170 Reepsville Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 7 from  9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event is open to the public and will feature activities, vendors, food, door prizes, music and more.

Gospelfest At Countryfest, Saturday, October 7 --- Countryfest in the town of Stanley, N.C. will have a gospel stage again this year on Saturday, October 7. No charge to attend the Gospelfest. Come and listen to some great bluegrass, Southern and contemporary gospel music from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Performers scheduled to appear include SPHC Bluegrass, Adam Beard and Sam Watts, all of Stanley, respectively at 11 a.m., 11:55 a.m. and 12:35 p.m. They will be followed by Don Herbert of Kannapolis at 1 p.m., the Drye Family of Stanley at 1:40 p.m., Tony Burchette of Morganton at 2:20 p.m. and We R Forgiven of Stanley to close out the event at 3 p.m. Bill Ward is serving as the master of ceremonies.
