LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Dr. Nataleigh Marie Hitt and Dr. Michael Robert Plage were wed on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lincolnton, N.C. The Rev. Edward Andrews officiated.
Nataleigh was attended by Mrs. Jill Ulmer, matron of honor, Dr. Blair Love, Dr. Eleni Tarasidis, Dr. Mary Lanier Zaytoun, Miss Ashley Grigsby, Mrs. Holly Hitt and Mrs. Caitlin Robertson.
Dr. John Herion and Mr. Houston Vann served as best men. Groomsmen were Mr. Nathaniel Hitt, Mr. Jeff Miller, Mr. Ian MacNaughton, Mr. Joel Robertson and Dr. Jesse Walsh.
Flower girls were Misses Addie and Anna MacNaughton; Master Liam Doyle was ring bearer; Mr. Carson Bland and Dr. Robert Plage served as ushers; and junior attendants were Misses Ashlyn and Hundley Rhyne.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Hitt of Lincolnton. She attended North Lincoln High School and is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the UNC School of Dentistry. She practices dentistry at CommWell Health in Penderlea, N.C.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Plage of Wilmington. He attended John T. Hoggard High School and graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the UNC School of Dentistry. He and his father practice dentistry together at Plage Dentistry in Wilmington.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Warehouse 18 Venues in Hickory. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Cafe Rule in Hickory.
A bridesmaids’ luncheon was given by Mrs. Ann Rhyne and Mrs. Linda Goodson at the Rhynes’ home in Lincolnton.
Following a wedding trip to Croatia, the couple resides in downtown Wilmington.
