LINCOLNTON, N.C. ─ “Compassion, Community, Caring,” the theme of National Assisted Living Week (NALW) from September 12-18, are a common theme all year long at Heath House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Lincolnton.
Special events and themed socials were on tap at Heath House aimed at recognizing the hard work and dedication of caregivers in assisted living communities and highlighting the importance of family and remaining connected to loved ones, including a coffee bar, a luau, pastry day, ice cream cone day and popcorn day!
Pictured at the NALW celebration are Carolyn Reaves, Heath House Administrative Assistant Susan Comer, Roger Green and Heath House Administrator Terry Black.
“This year’s National Assisted Living Week is very special because of the enormous challenges of the past year,” said Administrator Terry Black. “Compassion, Community, Caring’ reflects the hard work and dedication of all the caregivers in assisted living communities and highlights the importance of family and remaining connected to those you love.”
