Holiday Weekend

City and county offices in Lincoln, Catawba, Gaston & Cleveland counties were all closed  Friday (Dec. 23rd) and will be closed on Monday (Dec. 26th). Lincoln and Cleveland County offices will also be closed Tuesday (Dec. 27th) as will Lincolnton City offices.  Catawba County Government offices will reopen Tuesday.

The Catawba County Park System (Bakers Mountain, Mountain Creek, Riverbend and St. Stephens) will be closed Christmas Eve (Saturday) and Christmas Day (Sunday). Otherwise, they will be open daily from 8 - 5, including over the New Year’s holiday weekend.

Lincoln County's landfill and convenience sites are closed only four days each year--two of those are Christmas Eve and Christmas Day [the others are New Year's Day and July 4th]. Gaston County's landfill and convenience site on Philadelphia Church Road will close at noon Saturday.
