What A Day It Was!

Saturday was an evenful day in Lincolnton. The annual Cruisin' for a Cause was held Saturday afternoon and early evening. Saturday night, the Band Preview at LHS Stadium featured all four Lincoln County Schools high school bands.

The Dancing With Our Stars competition was held Saturday night at the Citizens Center. First Place was won by Team #7 - April Wellman and Vic Camp.
2nd Place went to Team #3 - Kasie and Derike Weldon. The winners of the People’s Choice Award were Team #6 - Leslie Houser and Scott Heafner; and the Fan Fare Award was won by Team #5 - Brianna and Brad Rowe. This week will be a bit more laid-back. The Cultural Center will have another concert on the lawn Saturday evening. The next really big event downtown is the Apple Festival on Saturday October 15th.
