LINCOLNTON, N.C. - At the Lincoln County Board of Education Meeting Tuesday evening, the Board approved the Superintendent’s recommendation to name Mr. Chris Kolasinski the Director of Pre-K and Early Learning effective September 1, 2023.

Mr. Kolasinski is currently the principal at Love Memorial Elementary, where he has served the last ten years.  Before he moved to Love Memorial, Kolasinski served as principal at Union Elementary and North Lincoln Middle School.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University and a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University.

Mr. Kolasinski replaces Donald Welch, who is retiring in September.

Ms. Pamela Hoffman will serve as the Interim Principal at Love Memorial Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year.
