July 2023 was her first surgery...

     When she came home...

Home with her new knee...

     Neighbors brought food...

Friends brought food...

     Family stayed and cared for her...

Things did not go well...

     More people helped...

October 2023 the 2nd knee was installed...

     That lead to 4 days in a nursing home...

Nursing home was a concentration camp...

     She escaped...

Now she was home with Home Health nurses...

     Nurses and physical therapy...

More neighbors and friends bring food...

     But now more is needed...

Favors asked of so many...

     Simple things no longer simple...

Walking to the mailbox used to be...

     Used to be so simple...

Done without even thought...

     Not now...

Running a vacuum becomes huge...

     Huge problem...

Lift chair helps with getting up...

     But you can not buy all you need...

You can not buy real favors...

    

Family, Neighbors and Friends...

     That is where real favors come from...

She had a neighbor that came...

     Came and changed the sheets...

Family came daily...

     Friends called and came...

Now she has so many people to thank...

     Thank for all the favors...

Favors that pulled her...

     Pulled her through this period...

Period of pain and misery...

How does she thank so many people...

     People who just did what she needed...

People who noticed what she needed...

     Noticed and just did it...

Did it over and over...

     Stopped and got her mail...

Called and ask if she needed...

     Needed anything...

Now remember how important you are...

     You are to the people who are in need...

A favor that seems small to you may...

     May be huge to a person...

A person in need...

I was this person in need...

     I am the one who was in need...

I am the person who got help...

     Help came when I needed it...

I know how important favors are...

Please help when you can...

     Do it for someone and...

And do it for yourself...

     They will feel better and...

And you will feel better...
