LINCOLNTON, N.C. - The Planning Board took the following action on the November zoning cases Monday evening, Nov. 6.
UDO #2023-7 Lincoln County Planning and Inspections, applicant A request to amend the Permitted Use Table in Section 2.2.1 to permit single-family detached homes in the R-MF (Multi-family Residential) district. The Planning Board voted 6-0 to recommend approval.
ZMA #721 Candy Williams, applicant (Parcel ID# 51680) A request to rezone a 0.43-acre parcel from B-G (General Business) to R-S (Residential Suburban). The property is located at 4774 N. N.C. 16 Business Hwy. in Catawba Springs Township. The Planning Board voted 6-0 to recommend approval.
ZMA #723 David Fuller, applicant (Parcel ID# 31240) A request to rezone a 1.05-acre parcel from CZ B-G (Conditional Zoning General Business) to B-G (General Business). The property is located on the east side of N. Pilot Knob Road about 300 feet south of the intersection with Hagers Ferry Road in Catawba Springs Township. The Planning Board voted 6-0 to recommend approval.
ZMA #724 Jacob Springs, applicant (Parcel ID# 57257) A request to rezone 4.74 acres from I-G (General Industrial) and R-S (Residential Suburban) to R-T (Transitional Residential). The property is located at 6149 Beam Lumber Rd in North Brook Township. The Planning Board voted 6-0 to recommend approval.
