LINCOLNTON, N.C. - At the October 3 Principal’s Meeting, Lincoln County Schools Superintendent named Mrs. Allison Rhyne, Principal at Lincolnton Middle School the Principal of the Year for LCS.  Mrs. Rhyne was nominated by her peers and was selected to be interviewed by a panel and was the unanimous selection. 

Mrs. Rhyne began her career in Gaston County teaching fifth grade, then serving as Assistant Principal.  She has been the principal at Lincolnton Middle School since 2018.

Mrs. Rhyne said, “I am so honored to be named Principal of the Year!  Lincolnton Middle is the most amazing school and truly has the best staff, students, family and community.  I love coming to work each day and I am extremely proud of our success!”  

Mrs. Rhyne will now move on to the NC Region 6 Principal of the Year competition.  Superintendent Dr. Aaron Allen said, “Allison is a strong instructional leader who always acts in the best interest of students.   October is National Principals Month and this comes at a good time in order to draw attention to all of our quality school administrators for the countless hours and energy they put into their job in order to make their school a success.”
