Lincolnton finished second and West Lincoln third in the NCHSAA 2A West Regionals at West Lincoln High School Friday & Saturday.  R-S Central was first with 144.0 points; LHS was second with 133.0; West third with 127.5.  Newton-Conover finished 5th with 110.5; Maiden was 10th with 64.0.

 Isaac Powell of Lincolnton took first place in the 106 division; Geviaunta Walker of Lincolnton was first in 285; Camden Sain of West Lincoln was first in 215.  Anderson Wise of West Lincoln took fourth in 106; Rylee Wesson of Lincolnton was fourth in 120; Maiden's Christian Wylie was third in 126; Logan Reynolds from West  took third in 132; Caleb Deaton of Lincolnton was second in 150; Levi Huss of West Lincoln third in 157; Gavin Gholami of LHS was fourth in 190; and  Trey Keller of Maiden third in 285.

Foard finished fifth with 101.6. East Lincoln finished 22nd with 14.0 points.   

The Helms brothers from North Lincoln had a good event: Kaden finished first in the 113 division; Gage won second place in 132; and Till was third in 126. Dean Quilla from North took third place in 120; Cole Ellis was third in 138; Aaron Keville was third in 144.  Fred T.
