LOWESVILLE––The Peoria, Ill.-based Kramers will perform a free concert on May 11 at 5 p.m.

The Vineyard Church of Lowesville is the place to be that Saturday evening, according to noted gospel singer and concert co-ordinator Carroll Cooke. And although the concert is free, as Cooke recently noted, a free-will offering will be taken up.

The Kramers feature the husband-and-wife team of Scott and Rachel Kramer, joined by daughter Maria and son-in-law Ben Wolfe. Ever since they got started in the gospel music ministry, the Kramers have been known for maintaining a high quality of musical excellence with an unquenchable passion to see people come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Critics have noted that one cannot attend a Kramers concert without being touched. 

The Kramers were nominated for “2020 New Artist of the Year” as part of The Singing News Fan Awards. As things have continued to progress for The Kramers, they teamed up with StowTown Records and multi-award winning producer Wayne Haun for their latest album, their sophomore release, Sing Me There. 

Also appearing will be the Toronto-based Chitans. Comprised of five remarkably talented siblings, the Chitans are already longtime veterans of the gospel music circuit, having toured throughout America, Canada, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Their latest album is Shoulder to Shoulder.

Sisters Kaiziah, Kayandra and Karlainah Chitan and brothers Jesse and Jayden Chitan are multi-instrumentalists, incorporating guitars, steel drums, the piano, flute, cello, violin and more into their performances. At 26 and 24 years of age respectively, Kaiziah and Kayandra Chitan compose their own songs. With their parents, Layne and Karen Chitan, the siblings have been taking their music on the road for the past seven years.

The Vineyard Church is located at 1062 NC-16 South in Lowesville. The church features Southern, bluegrass and/or acoustic gospel concerts every Saturday evening.
