Emmanuel Lutheran, Frank Love Orchestra, Thursday, November 7 --- A benefit concert for Christian Ministries Christmas Fund will be held November 7 at 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 216 S. Aspen St., Lincolnton, NC 28092 with the Frank Love Orchestra. Admission is free, but we hope you will be generous as we support this important ministry. All proceeds will go directly to Christian Ministries Christmas Fund. Come out for a great evening of swing and jazz music!

Antioch Baptist Yard Sale, Saturday, November 9 --- Church wide Yard/Bake/Hot Dog Sale This Saturday, November 9 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 3413 E Hwy 150, Lincolnton, N.C. 28092. All proceeds go to our Nourishing Hands Food Pantry to help people in need in our community.

North Brook Baptist Craft Bazaar, Saturday, November 9 --- North Brook Baptist Church will host a Craft Bazaar on Saturday, November 9 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Variety of vendors with homemade baked goods, homemade salsa, jams and jellies, pottery, jewelry, crafts and much, much more. Mt. Zion Baptist Holiday Bazaar & Cruise-In, Saturday, November 9 --- Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 112 Mt. Zion Church Road, Cherryville, NC 28021 will host a Holiday Bazaar & Cruise-In on Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Lots of vendors, concessions and inflatables.  You'll find something for everyone!  Proceeds will go to support our Youth Mission Trip. 

Crouse UMC Fish Fry & Oyster Stew Supper, Saturday, November 9 --- Crouse United Methodist Church, 3311 Crouse School Road, Crouse, NC 28033  will have a Fish Fry and Oyster Stew Supper on Saturday, November 9 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Flounder, perch, oyster stew, french fries, hush puppies, cole slaw, and homemade onion rings are on the menu.  Suggested donation per plate is $12 for adults, $7 for ages 6 to 10 and Free for children ages 5 and under with a paid adult. Dine-in or take-out available. Proceeds will go toward the church renovation and building fund. For more information phone (704) 735-2443.

McKendree UMC 3rd Sunday Luncheon, Sunday, November 17 --- McKendree United Methodist Church, 3537 Maiden Highway, Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host their Final 3rd Sunday Luncheon of 2019 on Sunday, November 17 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Entrees this month are meatloaf and creamy chicken with biscuits. Try both! Served with sides, homemade biscuits, desserts, and beverage. Take outs are welcome. Suggested donation of $8 which is used in the church outreach ministries. Please Note: There will NOT be a luncheon in December due to the Christmas holidays.

LRU Christmas 2019 Concert, December 4-7 --- The Lenoir-Rhyne University A Cappella Choir, College Singers, Brass Ensemble, and guest instrumentalists will present Peace and Joy: A Lenoir-Rhyne Christmas 2019 during four performances at Grace Chapel. The performances for Thursday, Dec. 5, and Friday, Dec. 6, will begin at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 7, there will be two performances 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., which will be livestreamed and can be accessed at lr.edu. A dress rehearsal, also open to the public and held at Grace Chapel, is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. Seating is limited and tickets are required. Tickets are free for all concert dates and may be picked up at the LR Box Office in P.E. Monroe Auditorium beginning Monday, Nov. 4. The LR Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., through Dec. 6. The box office will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. Ticketholders are limited to a maximum of four tickets. A stand-by line will be available for those who could not reserve a ticket. Though no guarantees can be made, historically all in the stand-by line have been seated. Those with unused tickets are strongly encouraged to return them to the box office. Returned tickets will be made available to the public one hour before each performance. Call 828.328.7206 for ticket information.
