Leah Danielle Rice
June 24, 2018 - November 2, 2018

Leah Danielle Rice, 4-month-old infant, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018.

Leah was born June 24, 2018 in Catawba County to Kayleigh M. Keener and Trey N. Rice of Newton.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Jennifer and Jack Johnson of Lincolnton; paternal grandparents, Misty Costner and Stephen Rice of Newton; paternal great-grandparents, Harold and Linda Rice of Newton and Patricia Costner of Newton; maternal great-grandparents, Mary Keener and Juanita Hight, both of Newton.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church Fellowship Hall with Pastor Lance Mitchell officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Burke Mortuary and Crematory of Newton, N.C. is serving the Rice family.
