Lois (Bummie) Nell Stewart Isenhour
October 3, 1936 - November 4, 2018

CATAWBA, N.C. - Lois “Bummie” Nell Stewart Isenhour, age 82, of Catawba passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at her residence.

Born October 3, 1936 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Harley Eugene and Cleo Morrow Stewart. In addition to her parents, daughter, Janet Scruggs; son-in-law, Larry Burchett; and brother-in-law, Richard “Buck” Fox preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 64 years Boyd Kelly Isenhour of the home; son Joe Gary Isenhour and wife Betty of Catawba; two daughters Kathy Burchett of Catawba, Wanda Fulbright and husband Ronnie of Catawba; two brothers Joe Stewart and wife Linda of Statesville, Donald Stewart and wife Brenda of Statesville; two sisters Jackie Fox of Statesville, Betty Warren and husband Grayden of Statesville; special family member Amanda Wright; caregiver Cassey Nelson; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 12 p.m. at United Missionary Baptist Church, 4805 Walter Rd., Claremont, NC 28610 with Pastor Ronnie Davis officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the church.
