Joseph Padgett

IRON STATION, N.C. - Mr. Joseph Padgett, age 69, of 3815 Oakwood Circle in Iron Station transitioned on Thursday, September 6, 2019 at Hospice Cleveland County, Shelby, N.C.

He was born in Cleveland County, N.C. on September 15, 1949 to the late Henry Padgett and Pearl Maddox Padgett.

Joseph was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He attended Washington High School. He retired from Actega North America as an Ink Technician.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Tinsley Padgett; one son, Melvin Newman; one daughter, Kimberly Padgett-Harbison.

Funeral Service is Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Vale with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Ebony & White’s Funeral Service of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Padgett family.
