Ronald (Ronnie) Tackett Jr.
March 26, 1968 - February 5, 2020

LINCOLNTON - Ronald "Ronnie" Tackett Jr., age 51, from Lincolnton passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Ronnie started his journey March 26, 1968 in Cook County, Illinois. He grew up in West Virginia where he found a mentor and lifelong friend Rex Bias. He was an avid hunter and Beagler. Ronnie was a 32nd Degree Master Mason at Lincoln Lodge 137 and Cookville Lodge 502. He was a passionate Shriner. He did his best to raise money for and make donations to Shriners International via the Lincoln County Shrine Club, a division of Oasis Shrine Temple. Ronnie was the owner/operator of T & T Repair, LLC in Lincolnton for over a decade. Ronnie strongly believed in family and that not all family were blood. He was very proud of his children.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years Kimberly Lewis Tackett of the home; daughter Kaylee A. Tackett of the home; son Ronnie L. Tackett and wife Sarah of Vale; parents Ronald Tackett Sr. and Andrea Lee Tackett of Clinton, N.C.; sister Angela Tackett Smutko and husband Dennis of Clinton, N.C.

No services will be held at this time.

Memorials may be made to: Lincoln County Shrine Club, 1471 Cat Square Rd, Vale, NC 28168.
