Caleb Boyd Cox
August 26, 1989 - June 24, 2020

IRON STATION, N.C. - Caleb Boyd Cox, age 30, of 2426 Hudson Poultry Road in Iron Station, died on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.

The body will lie-in-state on Saturday, June 27, 2020, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present.

Caleb was born August 26, 1989, in Lincoln County, to Steven Boyd Cox and Dana Pruitt Bryson. He was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Mitchell Bryson; paternal great-grandmother Olivene Lathan; grandfather, Robert Lathan, and Roy Cox and Gladys Cox. He worked as a CNA.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Boyd Cox (Theresa) of Iron Station; mother and stepfather, Dana Bryson (Jack) of Iron Station; sister, Daytona Foster (Grant) of Iron Station; paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Steve Cox (Sheila) of Iron Station; paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Sandra Leatherman (Thomas) of Iron Station; maternal grandparents, Avery and Shirley Pruitt of Lincolnton; step-grandmother, Kazue Bryson of Lancaster, SC; nieces, Iris Foster, Ivy Foster, and Olive Foster; nephew, Rowan Foster; special friends, Marilyn Reimers, Daniel Philbeck and Tony Davis; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved dog Luna.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sharon Baptist Church, PO Box 563, Iron Station, NC 28080.

Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving Cox family.
