TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. - Cynthia “Cindy” Seitz Galloway, 60, of Taylorsville passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.
She was born April 25, 1960 in Catawba County to Gladys Lail Seitz and the late Eldon Seitz of Hickory. Cindy was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Taylorsville. She loved her Lord, family and friends. Cindy always made sure her family was taken care of. Her sense of humor and laugh were contagious. Cindy enjoyed working at Gastroenterology Associates in Hickory. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Fred and Ethel Lail and paternal grandparents, John and Mamie Sietz.
Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 21 years Stewart Galloway of the home; son Caleb Hollar of Taylorsville; mother Gladys Lail Seitz of Hickory; brother Marty Seitz of Taylorsville; uncle Ned Lail; special aunt JoAnne Frye; cousins Joel Frye (Claremont), Rebecca McKinney (Taylorsville), Tina Rollins (Taylorsville), Stacy Lail (Taylorsville); lifetime best friend Wanda Moses Ellis (Arizona, formerly of Taylorsville); special fur babies Bubba, Butterscotch, Callie and Bella; and numerous friends.
A graveside service to celebrate Cindy’s life will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville. Pastor Dean C. Chambers and Rev. Joel Frye will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Taylorsville.
