LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Eleanora M. BRIGGS, 85, of Lincolnton, died Saturday, January 9, 2021 in her home.
Born October 28, 1935, in Potter Brook, Pa., she was the daughter of Donald R. and Annabelle Snyder Baker. On January 30, 1952, in Eldred, she married Earnest H. Briggs, who predeceased her on September 6, 2019. She was employed in the restaurant and catering business.
Surviving are four children, Linda May (Chris) Longoria, Anna (Sam) Dillard, CeCelia Joan Guillot, and Ernest (Pam) Briggs III; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Franklin C. (Susan) Baker of Coudersport, Pa/; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, William L. Baker and James D. Baker; a sister, Alberta Lame; and two sons-in-law, Milton Guillot and John Cormier.
Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, Pa. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. with Funeral Services following at 12 p.m. Rev. Timothy H. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
