LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Kathy Seagle Parker, age 74, of Love Memorial School Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, January 11, 2021.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021, in the Daniels Lutheran Church Cemetery for family and close friends with Rev. Steve Parker officiating. Her body will lie in state from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021. During that time, the family will be at the home of her daughter, Lindsay Mathis, 704 N. Oak Street in Lincolnton.

Kathy was born December 16, 1946, in Lincoln County, to the late David Tom Seagle and Kathryn “Kat” Lineberger Seagle. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Amy Tate. Kathy was retired from Lincoln County Schools where she was a teacher assistant for twenty-plus years.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dennis “DP” Parker of the home; two daughters, Lindsay Parker Mathis and husband Joey, of Lincolnton, and Katie Parker of Lincolnton; her brother, Tommy Seagle of Lincolnton; her sister, Andrea Sigmon of Lincolnton; and four grandchildren, Gracie Parker Fisher and husband Curtis, Andi Parker, and Cesar Leiva, Parker Mathis, and Kat Parker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
