Stephanie Lauren Mayhew
July 20, 1991-March 29, 2021

Ms. Stephanie Lauren Mayhew, 29, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.

Stephanie was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina on July 20, 1991 a daughter of Steve Mayhew and Tammy Hallman Mayhew. She was a graduate of Burns High School and attended Catawba Valley Community College. Stephanie was an administrative assistant at Marburger Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram in Shelby and a member of Buffalo Baptist Church in Shelby. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and had a love for animals.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pete and Mary Hallman.

In addition to her parents, survivors include a sister, Jessica Mayhew Carpenter of Shelby; a niece Carly Carpenter and her fiancé, Michael Tate of Forest City and grandparents, Carolyn Mayhew of Lincolnton; Jim and Mary Mayhew of Lattimore.

Funeral Services were held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Buffalo Baptist Church with Rev. Dustin Mace officiating. Burial was in City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville.

Memorials may be made to Buffalo Baptist Church, Building Fund, 108 Buffalo Church Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
