Capt. Richard Lee Brown
January 16, 1933-April 4, 2021

Capt. Richard Lee Brown, age 88 of Rock Creek Drive in Lincolnton died Sunday, April 4, 2021.

Capt. Brown was born January 16, 1933 in Marion County, Indiana. He was the son of the late Leonard Roland Brown and Mary Alice Davis Brown.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Robinson.  Capt. Brown was a retired 34 year veteran of the US Coast Guard and a member of First Baptist Church, Lincolnton.

He will be missed and remembered for his love of God, his family, friends, flying and animals.

There will be a memorial service for Capt. Richard Brown on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Lincolnton

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris Brown of the home; children, Kelinda Scott and husband Edward, Lorenda Dyson and husband Tom, Gerald Brown, Kia Hart and husband Robert; grandchildren , great grandchildren and his dog, Mr. B.

Warlick Funeral Home is serving the family.
