Sandy Diane Gilbert Lovelace
August 5, 1957-June 4, 2021

Sandy Diane Gilbert Lovelace, age 63, of Maiden, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at Atrium Health in Lincolnton.  Sandy was born August 5, 1957 in Catawba County to Richard Leroy Gilbert and the late Shirley Gene Rudisill Gilbert.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa L. Dickerson.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Scott Lovelace of Lincolnton; one son, Jonas Gilbert (wife Sheila) of Maiden; two daughters:  Alicia Lawrence of Lincolnton, and Jonita Cornwell of Lincolnton; her father, Richard L. Gilbert of Hickory; sister:  Tammy Kaylor of Ohio; 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Maiden City Cemetery in Maiden.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00-2:45 p.m. at Burke Mortuary in Maiden, prior to the graveside service.
