We at the Lincoln Herald consider the publication of area obituaries important.  That's why we never charge for posting obituary announcements, and we're glad to include a photo of the deceased (also without charge) if the funeral home supplies one.  Most area funeral homes do now supply us with a photo--but we have one that not only doesn't do that, they won't even email us their obituaries, telling us "if you want them, get them from our website."  They also never post a photo there.  We consider posting area obits (with a photo) an important community service. We post them for FREE, and we update our listings with the new obits every day.
