Carolyn Jean Board Midcap
March 20, 1943-July 19, 2021

Carolyn Jean Board Midcap, 78, of Catawba passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at Trinity Ridge-Mt. View after an extended illness. 

Carolyn was born March 20, 1943, in Calhoun County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Victor Board and Velma Stutler Board. She was a member of Resurrected Life Church in Hickory and prior to her retirement employed at Hickory Springs. In addition to her parents, and her sister, Wilma, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Delmas Lee Midcap (2018).

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Kevin Midcap of Newton and Christopher Midcap of Charlotte; a daughter, Lisa Fatheree and husband Denny Rosier of Massillon, Ohio; and her aunt, Delma Hall of Canton, Ohio.

A Private Memorial Service will be held in the Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
