We at the Lincoln Herald consider the publication of area obituaries one of our most important services to the community.  That's why we never charge for posting obituary announcements, and we're glad to include a photo of the deceased (also without charge) if the funeral home supplies one.  Unlike some newspapers, who only publish on certain days and don't update the obituaries on their website, the Lincoln Herald updates them by adding newly received listings every day.
