Jeffrey Allen Haynie Sr.
October 12, 1964 - January 12, 2022

Jeffrey Allen Haynie Sr., age 57, passed away on January 12, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Joyce Stevens and his stepdad Alfred. Jeff will be remembered as a loving, Christian man who was happiest outdoors especially fishing. He also was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the UNC Tar Heels as well as racing, and golf.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two children: Jennifer Mefford (Anthony), and Jeffrey Haynie Jr.; four sisters Dawn Atkinson (Paul), Lisa McDaniel, Dana Langley, and Amy Earley (Jerry).; his grandchildren: Gage, Gavin, and Kinleigh Mefford; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mt. Holly, N.C. is serving the Haynie family.
