LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Marlys Nesheim Stackhouse, age 97, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, and formerly of MerryWood on Park in Charlotte, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
Mrs. Stackhouse was born August 17, 1924, in McVille, North Dakota, to the late Melvin and Lillian Clauson Nesheim. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Stackhouse of Goldsboro. Marlys worked as the corporate secretary for United Airlines.
She is survived by a brother, Ronald Nesheim (Kay) of Gastonia; sister, Kathryn Aarseth (Melvin) of Rochester, Minn.; seven nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own; and 10great-nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at the present time.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Stackhouse family.
