CONOVER, N.C. - What a precious day in heaven, Saturday, June 18, 2022, Randall Lee Hollifield Jr., 13, of Conover gained his wings.
He was born July 6, 2008 in Gaston County to Randall Hollifield Sr. and Frances Holland Brooks, and placed by God to a special family, Bob Foringer, Alicia Hollar and Megan Hollar.
Those left on earth mourn his loss but celebrate his gains. Randall touched the lives of so many and taught them lessons of life. There are numerous people who made his life special. His nurses, doctors, therapists and the staff at Cardinal Kids played a significant role in Randall’s life. Together this team made life a success for this special young man.
A memorial service to celebrate Randall’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Bennett Funeral Service.
