Maggie Lou Broome Fish
November 17, 1941 - November 18, 2022

CATAWBA, N.C. - Maggie Lou Broome Fish, 81, of Catawba passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at her residence.

She was born November 17, 1941 in Mecklenburg County to the late Fred and Ruth Kirksey Broome. Maggie was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Claremont and retired from the textile industry. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, coin collecting, reading, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny M. Fish Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Lisa Spaulding and husband Dennis of Florida, Tammy Bell of Catawba, Cherie Fish of Catawba; grandchildren Merci Price, Sheldon Bell, Philip Bell, Austin Bell, Drew Spaulding, Sean Spaulding, and Quinn Spaulding.

A service to celebrate Maggie’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Claremont. Pastor Marcus Hovis will officiate. Burial will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Catawba. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Ebenezer Lutheran Church. Those serving as pallbearers are Austin Bell, Philip Bell, Sheldon Bell, Drew Spaulding, Sean Spaulding and Merci Price.
