Legacy Music will hold an Internet-based town hall-style event on April 22 at 7 p.m. The business is working in partnership with the Gaston Arts Council in order to introduce itself to the people of Gaston and surrounding counties. With new facilities at Eastridge Mall in Gastonia the facility will house a professional recording studio, an Internet-based radio station, a podcast studio and space for rehearsal, photography and videography. It will offer workshops for local creative people in the fields of audio engineering, music production, songwriting, the music business, radio broadcasting, voiceover work, acting and more, both on an in-person basis and over the Internet. The facility will also be available for private sessions, offering professional environments for new and established performers to develop and produce their creative content. The event on April 22 will introduce the key partners involved, as well as offer an opportunity for local talent and interested parties to discuss their needs and offer suggestions on ways they can best be served, as George informed.
