Today in History in 1837 Queen Victoria at age 18 ascends the British throne following the death of her uncle King William IV. She ruled for 63 years ending in 1901; and in 1975 "Jaws", based on the book by Peter Benchley, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Roy Scheider was released.
