Today in History in 1553 15-year-old Lady Jane Grey deposed as England's Queen after 9 days; in 1848 the first U.S. women’s rights convention was held in Seneca Falls, New York; and in 1984 Geraldine A. Ferraro won the Democratic Vice Presidential nomination.
