Speaker, Forward-Thinker

Every day, an unassuming occurrence adds and subtracts motions and emotions within our lives. Just over a second away via light speed rails, movements and songs of a sphere determinedly keep their purposes, as the orb courses through the sky above us. Unwandering, yet presupposing, the lunar disc reacts to the separate, yet interconnected, pulsings from terrestrial and solar strengths. The intertwined patterns draw forth – from the orb caught in the middle – the slightest of dances. Though unseen to the naked eye, an ever-going slippage and gaining fill its path with waved saw teeth, affecting us as it goes.

Princely states of mind quell shadowed doubts in hallowed halls, where ideas and questions abound. Through night and morn’, reflected light shines forth and casts outwardly to guide those who seek understanding. Therefore, nutation, over the hours, grows and becomes a wobble. While unknown to many people, that wobble shapes, directions, and guides the pulls and pushes of actions in this world. Much as the human mouth shapes consonants around vowels, nutation adds its subtle parameters to how we live.

Bridge water and tapestry pass below and above us, holding together the flowing fabric in which we live. It has an essence of top-level magic, yet data points can be calculated, buttressing the future by analyzing the past to plot a curve and reveal its inner workings.

Ironically, if there were no plus and minus, ebb and flow, or pull and push, everything would be the same, constant state – day in and day out, every day of our lives. That seems boring. Even people who have a favorite food – say, pasta -- enjoy a variety of styles, flavors, textures, and dishes for their meals. The same ole spaghetti could become loathsome and wanting, were it not for changes to recipes, here and there.

Variety on a plate adds a bit of wobble and excitement to the partaking of the one, two, or three course meal. Whereas, a steady state consumption would be a steady state trajectory, buffeted only by the knowledge that eventually time would overcome the desire to consume and then place before those same people the lack of desire to continue on the set course they had chosen – equaling starvation from boredom. Instead, variety allows the eater to enjoy a number of changes in a given instance.

Likewise, movements by the shining night disc affords us insight into the passing of events via intentions and purposes initiated by the unseen energy around us. Meaning, a seemingly stationary orb actually flies by quickly in the night, leaving a wake or trail that is felt, but not seen. Limited human understanding of time and almost zero real-time seeing of movements above contribute to the visual perception that the lunar sphere is standing still. Yet, in celestially-planned design, the moon acts as a moving intermediary between the production and reception of solar energy, in context of the duration and reach of our lives.

Thus, the imperceptible shaking and wobble are good. Sine and cosine waves of solar system energy interact with our sensory receptors and help give us exciting fluctuations week after week and month after month. Our internal systems acknowledge changes and welcome them as part of the ever-growing tapestry of interwoven, colored threads, stitched together by an Unseen Hand. So, the next time you look up at the Earth’s natural satellite, appreciate that it is helping shape events, topics, and energy that affect your life. Thus, it glides along fulfilling its purpose, as you, in turn, fulfill yours.
