We look forward to hearing from our readers!

It is 2019 and I am 77.  Lots a water has gone under this bridge.  Many things have changed in my world.  I remember when people could have different ideas and different opinions without feeling scared.  When I walk into a parking lot at a store and I read a sign on a window in a car and it is not the name of the politician that I voted for I do not want to break the window.

If someone has on a shirt that has a name I did not vote for, I do not want to hit the person.   Hats do not send me into a rage.

When did we Americans allow ourselves to get so mad that we forget to be American’s.  This is not how Americans conduct themselves.... well we did not used to conduct ourselves that way.  Do you think it is because we CARE more about politics than we used to?

Now think about that question.  The writers of the Constitution, the WWI, WWII, and Vietnam vets were willing to die, give their lives, for this country and they voted for both parties, I am certain.  Do we in 2019 care for more politics?  Well they did not conduct themselves with such hate for the other party.  Maybe it is not the politics at all.  Maybe we need to stop and think about how we as humans have changed and maybe we need to change back.  This is America and the world expects better of us.

Put on your support clothes and smile and be nice to the fellow in the other party attire.

Younger generations are watching.
