December is here...
Everyone hopes it will be their best...
Hopes everyone they love will be Merry...
But this is just a thought...
December is many things to many people...
When you are shopping...
When you are at work...
When you are driving about...
When you are dealing with others...
Drive past the hospital...
See all those cars in the parking lot...
There are families and friends parked there...
Be kind to people you deal with...
They may be those very people...
Look at your newspaper...
See the obituary column...
There are names in that column in December...
You may be dealing with those...
Those family members...
The cashier taking your money may...
May not have enough money to buy gifts...
Gifts for her children this year...
The gifts she could have bought...
Bought before the inflation of 2021...
News about the cost of heating home in 2022...
Lots a people are stressed about this...
Stress can take the fun out of the best of us...
Gas prices are not helping...
If you would like to add a little joy to your day...
Consider thinking of ways to help a stranger...
If you have the time...
Allow someone to get in front of you in line...
If you have the time...
Tell a neighbor their decoration are pretty...
If you have the opportunity hold a door open...
Try to remember to say thank you, please and
MERRY CHRISTMAS
You may find that it improves YOUR Christmas...
Christmas is a wonderful season but...
But it is a very stressful time for many...
Actually at times it is stressful for most people...
It is a very emotional time...
If you feel stressed out remember...
Remember you are not alone...
You just do not know what others are dealing with..
Sharing kindness is a powerful stress medicine...
We all know how to do it...
We all need to share it and receive it...
Decembers demands it...
More About Judge Rembert: WWII made Judge an only child when her half-brother was killed in the war. She lived in a tiny town in South Carolina until she was eight and her Mother went to work. She was sent to a boarding school in Belmont, N.C. From that time on she has lived back and forth in the two Carolinas. They are both home. She was born dyslexic and did not know what the problem was or that it had a name until she was about 45. She was unable to spell so she never put words on paper until she was 65 and had a computer with spell check. She comes from a long line of story tellers and a Mother that taught her much by telling stories. Stories about people and how they faced life and how they dealt with problems. If you read what she writes you may hear her Mother and her Grandmother talking to her. She is thrilled to know that anyone reads her words and finds them interesting. Oh, she is 75 now and she now makes her home in Aiken, S.C. If you like Judge’s writings or would like to comment on them let her know by emailing judgerembert@bellsouth.net.
