Earlier news releases had given Wheeling's middle name as Christopher, it is Christian according to his booking record at the Gaston County Jail.

Gaston County Police have arrested a second suspect in an April 14th murder in the Landers Chapel area just inside Gaston County southwest of the Long Shoals area.
Donald Christian Wheeling, 26, from Dallas, was arrested early Friday morning (April 30th) after fleeing from County Police Officers on a stolen motorcycle. Wheeling was taken into custody without incident and incarcerated at the Gaston County Jail on a first degree murder charge as well as charges for felony fleeing to elude arrest, and possession of stolen property. He had been sought since police filed the murder charge two days after the incident on Wednesday April 14th.
At 12:45 that morning police answered a call about a shooting in the Landers Chapel area and found Michael Lee Moore,36, of Bessemer City, suffering from a gunshot wound on W.H. Kiser Road. He later died at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.
After Wheeling was charged, on Friday April 23rd, Gaston County Police arrested another suspect, Marvin Christopher Neal, who lives where Moore was found after being shot. Neal was first charged with obstructing justice and possession of a firearm by a felon. Last Tuesday morning (April 26th) he was charged with first degree murder.
