Alive After Five, Lincolnton’s favorite Summer Concert Series has come to a close for another year. So pack up your lawnchairs until next year and enjoy the memories and pictures of this special outdoor event held under the summer sky.
Designed to promote an alternative recreational opportunity to the Lincolnton community this event has drawn many local residents, visitors and their families to West Main Street on the last Thursday of each month from May to September.
Lincolnton has been a good destination for music lovers to enjoy the charm of our special town. They have gathered with friends and co-workers, to unwind, to dance ‘til they dropped or just sat back and watched great regional bands like The Extraordinaires, Unspoken Tradition, The Catalinas, Coming Up Brass and The Fantastic Shakers.
Alive After Five was hosted this year by the City of Lincolnton, the Downtown Development Association and local businesses (Buddy Stasney’s Buick/GMC, Paul Parker Insurance Agency, The Arts Council of Lincoln County, Carolina Trust Bank, Iron Station Thunder and First Federal Savings Bank).
During the last concert Main Street Milestone Award Winners for 2012 were announced by the Downtown Development Association.
