The Student Government Association at the Lincoln Campus of Gaston College recently sponsored the Annual Spring Fling for the staff, faculty and students. Contact person for the event was Tanisha Williams from the Gaston College Dallas Campus.

The event titled “The Sights and Sounds of Mardi Gras Carnival” was held near the entrance to the Senior Center at the college.

Activities for the attendees included playing cornhole, ladderball and bocciball. Different student organizations sponsored booths where crafts could be made as well as getting Mardi Gras hats, masks and crowns. Other activities include spin art Frisbees, personalized street signs and photos for those who dressed up for Mardi Gras in the photo booth. Live music was provided by local musician Bally Wilson and a BBQ lunch was served by Fletchers BBQ.
